Helpful and informative and kind of fun

My husband and I went to Kauai on our honeymoon. Before hand, we did all kinds of research and had basic list of what we wanted to do on the island. Along our way to planned activities, this app would tell us of various points of interest and we made several unplanned stops. It has fun facts about movies shot on the island, info on historical events and helpful bits like where to park for access to a secluded beach.

Parts of the island are very lush and the roadway can be curvy. Watching for mile marker signs that are green in color against a background of green vegetation can be challenging. Plus, street-names can all sort of look the same if you are new to the Hawaiian language and alphabet. The GPS guide tells you when to turn to see sights and lets you just enjoy the spectacular views without straining to see and spell-out street signs.
